Non-Exclusive Parties

  • A more cost-effective option for a smaller party. 
  • Book tickets and pay-per-head.
  • Add on DropSlide or Stairway To Heaven tickets if you like, at the point of booking, on arrival or during the session itself up until 10 past the hour of the climb time.
  • You can add the Party Bus to your booking (subject to availability)
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: We have a strict NO CAKE policy for inside the venue. We also do not allow food/snacks/drinks (with exception of water) to be consumed in the venue unless it has been purchased from our café. Please be mindful of this if you are including cupcakes in your party bags. Your guests will not be able to eat them until they have left the venue. Please also be mindful that it makes our staff extremely uncomfortable to have to enforce this policy if it is ignored, so your cooperation is much appreciated.
  • You will share the arena with other climbers who have booked on to the same session.
  • During busy times, we cannot guarantee we will be able to increase your climber numbers after your booking is confirmed, due to lack of availability.  It is best to over-estimate slightly at the point of booking and reduce your numbers within the required notice period.

HOW DO I BOOK A NON-EXCLUSIVE PARTY?

If you are not having the Party Bus, you can simply book your tickets online as usual.  If you want to add the Party Bus onto your party, please contact Reception to check availability and we will manage your booking and take payment over the phone.

CAN I CANCEL OR AMEND MY BOOKING?

Yes, as long as you let us know a minimum of 48 hours (to the minute) before the start of your booking.  Please note that if you want to add climbers, it may not be possible and will be down to availability.  If you want to decrease your numbers or cancel, we will process the refund accordingly.

CAN WE HAVE PARTY FOOD AND CAKE IN THE CAFÉ SPACE?

No. Our café is for families and climbers who are not part of a party.  If you want party food and cake, please consider hiring the Party Bus.

You can take photographs of your own child/children of course.  Please be mindful and respectful of other customers who may not wish to have their photograph taken, and please do not post anything on social media that shows the faces of children/climbers you don’t know and haven’t got permission from.

Exclusive Parties

  • This option offers great value for a larger party size. 
  • Exclusive use of the climbing arena for up to 35 climbers.
  • The café space remains non-exclusive.  If you want the entire venue exclusively, please take a look at our Bespoke Parties option.
  • DropSlide and Stairway to Heaven tickets are included for all climbers who want them.
  • You can add the Party Bus to your booking (subject to availability)
  • You can amend your numbers as you like without notice, as long as you stay within the arena capacity of 35.

HOW DO I BOOK AN EXCLUSIVE PARTY?

Please contact Reception to check availability and we will manage your booking and take payment over the phone. Alternatively, you can email [email protected] with some information about what you are looking for (eg suggested dates and times) and we’ll come back to you with availability and options.

IS THE PARTY BUS INCLUDED?

No, it is an optional extra and we will need to check availability for you.

If you want to offer your guests party food and cake after their climb, you will need to add the Party Bus bolt on, as we have a strict No Cake Policy in the venue and we do not allow food that has not been purchased from our café to be eaten on site.

CAN PARENTS/CARERS/FRIENDS STAY FOR THE PARTY IF THEY AREN’T CLIMBING?

Yes, if you would like them to. Our café serves a range of delicious refreshments, and you can relax and find a comfy spot in the viewing space that overlooks the arena or catch up with friends in the café.  There is no entry fee or ticket required for non-climbers. If you would like to see our Drinks Menu please ask our Reception Team and they will send you a copy to choose from. Please note that if you bring your own alcohol for your guests we will charge you a corkage fee.

The Party Bus

  • We have refurbished a London double decker bus. The seats on the upper deck have been replaced with bench seating and tables which will seat up to 40 people.
  • A fun and exciting way to entertain your guests after their climb.
  • Available for hire for 45-minute slots at the end of climbing sessions.
  • The upper deck will host the guests whilst they enjoy their food and drink, and cake if you have one.
  • The lower deck will have a prep area, a space for pressies and a comfy seating area for parents/carers/adults to enjoy a drink from our licensed bar or some refreshments from our café.
  • The Party Bus hosts one party at a time, so it’s exclusively yours for the duration of your booking.
  • As an exclusive booking, you can cater your party as you like, whether you choose to bring your own food and drink, order pizza delivery or ask us to cater it for you.
  • You will have access to the bus 8 minutes before the end of your climbing session. This is wholly dependent on how the previous booking has left it and how long it takes to turn it over ready for you.

FOOD AND DRINK

As an exclusive booking, you can bring whatever food and soft drinks you like, but please remember they can only be consumed on the Party Bus.

If you would like to serve alcoholic drinks to your adult guests, we have a licence to allow for this.  You can purchase directly from our drinks list, or you can bring your own alcohol which will be subject to a corkage fee.  Please ask us for more details.

Please note we do not have the facilities to reheat food that has been prepared at home.

We will provide jugs of chilled tap water for guests.

We will provide a knife for cutting the cake

We will provide pizza cutters if needed.

Yes, absolutely.  Just let us know at the point of booking and we will send you details. It is subject to our baker's availability.

PIZZA DELIVERY

A popular option with guests, we work with our carefully chosen partner, Pappaciccia, based in Fulham.  They offer freshly prepared pizzas (and a range of other dishes) that can be delivered to Clip ‘n Climb Chelsea.  You can see their menu here. Ring them a day or two before your party and place your order.  Ask them to deliver it at 20 past the hour of your climb (so for example, for a 10am session that finishes at 11.30am, you will ask for delivery at 11.20am).  They will deliver it to Reception, who will organise for it to be carried across to the bus.

CLIP ‘N CLIMB CATERING

We offer a range of menu options, such as sandwiches, veggies and dips, crisps and fruit.  Get in touch to discuss your needs and we’ll be happy to help.  Prices are based on a per-head cost. Ideally, we'd like a minimum of 2 weeks' notice, please.

ACCESS AND DEPARTURE FROM THE BUS

Parents/carers will have access to the bus about 8 minutes before the end of your climbing session, depending on how long it takes our team to tidy up from the previous party.  Once climbers have finished in the arena, they are unharnessed, and they will then be shown onto the bus.  Your 45-minute session begins as soon as the climbing session has ended.  We recommend that you ask parents/carers to start arriving to collect their children 30 minutes after the party has started.  In our experience, this gives the children time to eat and drink and it gives you time to clear away, ready for the next party coming in after you. 

Please be aware that you must be off the bus by quarter past the hour. Our team need the time to get on board and prep the space. They will board at 5 minutes past the hour to give you a polite reminder that you have 10 more minutes and help you to start clearing up.

WHAT ABOUT DECORATIONS?

Our Party Bus will be party-ready for you and your guests.  You may bring balloons but please keep decorations to a minimum as they often damage the walls.  Party poppers, confetti and sparklers are not allowed, but you may bring candles for the cake.  Pinatas are not permitted inside.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Please bring everything you need for your party with you, including cutlery, cups and plates.  We will provide jugs of water and a knife for the cake.

WHAT HAPPENS ON ARRIVAL AT THE VENUE

When you check in for your climbing session at Reception, we will have space to store your cake and your bag/box of items you need (cups, plates, cutlery, party bags, napkins etc). Please note we will not have space to store your coats and any pressies, but there is space in the venue for this once you've found a spot. Coats kept under the stairs in boxes or on the hooks.

Our Alcohol Licence

We do have a licence to sell alcohol to our customers.  We support the Challenge25 initiative.

If you would like to offer alcoholic drinks to your (non-climbing) adult guests, you can purchase directly from our drinks list and we will have it ready for your arrival.  We require a mimimum of 3 working days' notice for this, please.

If you want to bring your own alcohol, we will charge a corkage fee:

Beer - £2 per bottle

Wine - £15 per bottle

Cava and Prosecco - £20 per bottle

Champagne - £30 per bottle
